OK... so the power blows at Becky's house 1.5 hours before the event... OK, so Jennifer Dinner runs with the food over to her house where the oven works... Shani runs to get some cool lanterns... Heather's cookin' in the dark... Jamie, you don't need the lipstick, no one can see you anyway... but almost 50 women come anyway to shmooze, mingle, relax, laugh, hear Jamie unbelievable story (running Madonna's tour??), and enjoy a cooking show with easy, healthy, kosher recipes and try their hand at some homemade apple purses (they were really good). Thanks again to Becky and Rebecca, and to Hallie for the airport pickup and prep/cleanup, and Avril (especially for the wraps), Shani, Jennifer, Heather, and Pia (where would we be without Pia??) for the legwork, friendship, prepping, cooking and cleaning (oh, sure, for cleanup we had lights - deferred prayer syndrome). Thanks Loren for being on the committee and helping out - we missed you! And thanks to all of you who came.
